Elizabeth Satchell

Elizabeth joined the Law Office of the Ozarks in November 2023 after over 11 years with the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office (MSPD). While at the MSPD, Elizabeth zealously represented clients on cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies, sex cases, and murder.

After graduating with a B.A. in Philosophy with honors, Elizabeth earned her law degree from UMKC School of Law with an emphasis in international law and with highest honors in public service. During her studies, in addition to other leadership positions, she completed a summer study abroad program in Amsterdam, the Netherlands focusing on international criminal law and international human rights. She transitioned from this experience to working for the MSPD, which she viewed as an extension of human rights.

Elizabeth is passionate about holistic representation and mental health and has attended local, statewide, and national conferences on these topics. She enjoys serving her local community and has helped train new attorneys, given presentations to local groups, and worked with local non-profits with the aim to help those in need.

She has also expanded her practice to include family law and guardianship/probate cases given the advocacy and professional training so she may assist with unique needs within civil litigation cases.
